Social networking – a new challenge

Operating a painting business most of my life brought on many challenges but like anything else, you figure things out and move on. Now with the communication era in full stride I’m finding myself playing “catch up” trying to learn all these great ways to stay in contact with colleagues and friends.
A few years ago I was proud of myself for learning how to send e-mails, now it seems that if you’re not blogging, tweeting and on face book you’re out of the loop. As I try to connect with fellow entrepreuners and house painters I’m finding that I’m not alone. Many “hands-on” people like myself are also finding it challenging, but, like me are realizing it’s the wave of the future. I’m starting to see that it’s a matter of keeping up or getting left behind!
